Weather Wiz Kids – Volcanoes

Types of volcanoes, links to several different sources, Ring of Fire information, activities… The only thing I didn’t especially like was the lesson plan for matching volcanoes to the states they’re in. I didn’t include it as a separate link. Some of them I knew. Others were tough and I had to look them up. Before you did the activities, you might want to make sure you knew the answers and had links to each location. There are some wonderful pictures of the different volcanoes across our country. In fact, I’m thinking of doing the research first, creating a powerpoint, then using the matching activity as something to do afterword. If I do that, I’ll probably upload my powerpoint to here for future use.
