Found by accident, this is a great resource from University of North Texas.  Too many good things to mention here.  Powerpoints, animations, games, lesson plans.  I haven’t used them yet, but sure have found enough to make me smile.

Alright, another site I haven’t sifted through yet, but one I definitely need to work through.  Great bunch of resources.  I’ve done some of the games as well and they seem pretty good.

This one will take you a while, though it’s rather fascinating.  I think it will save your game for you.  It’s a superhero game.  Really fun, but a little time consuming.

Simple, inexpensive activities for your classroom or for you to send home with your kids.

Interesting site for videos as well as actually getting your kids involved in Mars exploration.  I didn’t register, but looked around.  Nice opportunity.

This is definitely not my favorite site, because, like alot of my kids, I’m so ADD, too much reading drives me nuts.  However, it’s a good site for webquests, research, and such.  Listed a couple of games separately, but most of what are here are crosswords, etc.

Take facts about the solar system and use them to put the planets in order based on whatever characteristic is used.  Some of these are a little tricky.

Test your knowledge of space trivia.  You can pick your level before you start.

You can make a moon phaser and show the kids how to use it.  Everything you need should be right there – instructions, sheets to download, websites for assistance.  Fun stuff.

Well, you can’t take a field trip to the sun, so this will have to do.  Uses some actual video clips and does an excellent job of explaining concepts.  Quite a bit of reading, though.
