Lite-Brite
Now, before you think I’ve lost my mind and started adding stupid stuff, let me explain. I ran across a page where they suggested using a lite brite for kids to make constellations. I was thinking, “Sure, come up with enough lite brites for a classroom. Then I found a virtual one that didn’t work any more along with a lesson plan suggesting the same thing again. That made me start looking until I found one that worked. Ta DAH! So…get a list of constellations with the stars color coded by brightness, which you can find on SciTrip somewhere, I think, and let them make pictures for a while. And then they can make their own constellations and write the stories to go with them. Done that before, they loved it.
Lite-Brite,
